Preferences
Choose a colour theme and set the defaults Folioso's editor uses for code blocks. Your preferences are saved to your account and follow you to every device.
Open Settings (the icon next to your name at the bottom of the sidebar) and scroll to Editor Preferences.
Theme
Under Theme, choose:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Light | Always use the light theme. |
| Dark | Always use the dark theme. This is the default. |
| System | Follow your device's light or dark setting, and switch when it does. |
Code block defaults
These settings apply to code blocks you add in the editor.
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Default Code Language | The language that's pre-selected when you insert a new code block. You can still change it per block. | Plain text |
| Tab Size | How many spaces a tab inserts: 2 or 4. | 4 |
| Line Numbers | Whether code blocks show line numbers by default. | On |
Saving
There's no save button. Changes are saved automatically a moment after you make them, and the page header shows when the save is in progress and when it's done.
Because preferences are stored with your account, they're the same in every organisation you belong to.
